Tallinn is the capital of Estonia. Tallinn is called the pearl of medieval Europe. The city is famous for its Old Town, which was entered into the List of International Heritage of UNESCO in 1997. If you visit the very heart of Estonia you definitely should see the medieval City Hall, which is the highest building of that epoch. You should not forget to visit St. Olav’s Cathedral, the Kadriorg’s Palace, the Church of the Holy Spirit with its unique belfry of the 18th century, and Alexanders Nevsky’s Cathedral, which is famous for its “onion” cupolas.
